Vanessa Di Lego

Vanessa Di Lego

Professor of Demography · Departamento de Demografia, Cedeplar/FACE/UFMG
Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais

I work at the intersection of formal demography, mortality methodology, and gender — asking how we measure health and longevity, and for whom the numbers hold. My current research focuses on lifespan variability and inequality, estimation sensitivity in health expectancy, and gender gaps in mortality and morbidity.
